Policies: Southwick's Zoo is open seasonally April 11 - October 31st, from 10 am - 5pm (4pm in October). Please plan at least 3 hours+ for your visit. Please note that in April/May, during inclement weather, or due to staffing shortages not all food/attractions/rides/retail may be open. Some animals may not be out in cooler temperatures. Please contact guestservices@southwickszoo.com if you are interested in the availability of a particular attraction, ride or animal. Please note: * ALL CHILDREN MUST BE AT LEAST 42" Tall to ride on SKYFARI and ZIPLINE.
Regular Admission - please provide your barcode at the main entrance for admittance - regular admission will NOT receive a wristband. Sky/Train combo ticket purchasers will receive a wristband to ride the Train and Skyfari upon entrance to the zoo. Child Height Requirement for Skyfari is 42" Tall to ride. Children must ride with an adult. We DO NOT recommend the Combo Ticket for Children under 42".
Please Note: Some Rides, Attractions, Shows, Retail/Food Venues may be closed due to weather, renovation or seasonal shifts. Please Note: Food is NOT allowed to be brought into the zoo. Coolers and large bags are NOT permitted. Small bags for medical supplies, formula and child care necessities is allowed. You may get a hand stamp to leave the zoo and return same day.
Your tickets will be sent via EMAIL. Please keep this email in a safe place. You may either PRINT the tickets or SHOW on your phone for admittance.
Pets - Pets of any kind are not allowed in Southwick's Zoo and animals are not to be left in vehicles due animal health and safety guidelines. Service Animals are welcome however there are a few animal contact areas that must be avoided for our animal safety. Please check in and register your service dog at GUEST SERVICES to receive instructions and allow our staff to contact zoo keeping for safety protocols.
For your safety we recommend sneakers or closed toe shoes during your visit to Southwick's Zoo. We do not recommend flip flops or sandals due to safety, terrain and dangers either known or unknown.
By purchasing Admission tickets to Southwick's Zoo you are accepting responsibility for your own safety and are aware that the zoo's natural terrain involves hazards, both know and unknown that can result in personal injury. We ask that you obey all posted signage including animal contact areas such as Deer Forest and Petting Zoo.
